About Do Wonders
Officially recognized as a 501(c)3 non-profit charity in June 2013, Do Wonders was founded in 2009 by Lillian Lee. Lillian witnessed several of her friends and clients suffer from cancer. Losing their hair after cancer treatment became just another frustration in a long battle. So Lillian sought ways to help them cope. Do Wonders collects, refurbishes, cuts, styles, and resizes wigs free of charge to women stricken with cancer. The patients are referred by local and national cancer organizations, hospitals, and other charitable entities. Lillian’s work with Do Wonders has received statewide and national recognition, including on Teaneck Patch, the Bergen Record, the Examiner, the Jewish Standard, Zooey Deshcanel’s “I Heart Heroes" website, the Jewish Link of Bergen County, and more.
